The Campana Brothers x Lacoste x Moss
The design duo Fernando and Humberto Campana who are most known for their expensive stuffed animal chairs are back with another creative collaboration, this time with fashion house Lacoste. They have designed 4 different styles of custom hand-made men’s and women’s shirts currently available at Moss. Prices range from $1,900 to $7,500.

Maison Moschino x Themed Boutique Hotel
We can assure you’ve never slept in a luxury boutique hotel like the Maison Moschino. Owned by Fashion house Moschino, their Creative Director Rossella Jardini was the visionary behind the concept, design, and decoration. The hotel boasts 16 unique and whimsical private quarters, and 65 themed rooms, each meticulously decorated and designed. Our favorite piece is the pastry chandelier. A few themed rooms are the “Alice room”, “Petal Room”, “Red riding Hood”, “Clouds”, “Sleeping in a Ball Gown”, “Gold”, and “Luxurious attic”. All this artistic opulence comes at a price though, the themed rooms start at around $368 and up a night.

Kanye West x Nabil Elderkin x Coldest Winter x Music Video
In classic Kanye West style he debuts his latest video for his current single “Coldest Winter” off of his 808s and Heartbreak album. The music video is directed by long time collaborator and friend Nabil Elderkin. As always, Kanye always keeps everyone guessing and this video is no different. Mr. West is noticeably absent, yet the video is still worth a gander. Enjoy!

Lady Gaga x Jonas Akerlund X Moca
Once again CO staple and Superstar Lady Gaga wows us again. This time she brought along brilliant filmmaker Jonas Akerlund to create a short film documenting behind-the-scenes footage to her performance for Moca’s 30th anniversary gala on November 14th, 2009. The actual performance was orchestrated by Italian artist Francesco Vezzoli and titled “Ballets Russes Italian Style (The Shortest Musical You Will Never See Again)”. Armed with a Prada wardrobe, Damien Hirst painted butterflied grand piano, and Frank Gehry custom headpiece, Gaga does what she does and brings us art in every form possible. Enjoy!

Alexander McQueen Dead at 40
According to the Daily Mail British fashion Icon and CO favorite Alexander McQueen has committed suicide. This is a sad day in the fashion world. Less than 4 months ago Korean Supermodel Daul Kim took the same way out. What makes this really unfortunate is that McQueen was at his peak, the upper echelon of the fashion world, especially after the recent unveiling of the Mcqueenadillos. Our prayers go out to his family, friends, and fans worldwide.

“McQueen was found at his luxury flat in Green Park, central London. It is believed he hanged himself.”
“A source at McQueen’s office this afternoon confirmed his death, saying: ‘It is a tragic loss. We are not making a comment at this time out of respect for the McQueen family.”
“His death comes just days before the start of London Fashion Week and weeks before he was due to unveil his new collection at Paris Fashion Week on March 9.”

American based illustrator Craig Gleason latest project is morphing George Washington into Lady Gaga $1 bills. We love this concept. This is true pop art (no pun intended). Craig is also currently selling his morphed bills in set at approximately $30 each (a steal in our opinion for such an original piece). Are FCUK’s new ads Innovative?
Fashion label French Connection recently revamped their image for their current campaign. It depicts the average man and woman and not the usual super clean looking models. They also are going the nontraditional route with adding the simple slogans… not normally seen in fashion ads. We have to ask do you relate more to “realistic” looking model driven campaigns as opposed to those by the “uber-polished barbie/ken doll” type?
